Truck Racing is one of Brands Hatch's most popular family events
and one of the most unique forms of motorsport in the world. The
drivers aren't afraid to make contact with their rivals in an
overtaking attempt, as they battle with five-tonne goliaths capable
of out-dragging a Porsche 911 to 100mph. Despite their weight and
size, trucks are incredibly agile and are capable of rubber burning
power slides, especially when blasting out of Druids hairpin!
A great day out for all the family!
There's more to this event than the Truck racing - there's a full programme of support races too, including Pickup Trucks, plus up to 100 showtrucks, including vintage examples for the first time, will line up at the venue.
There's also a large tent for younger children, with free facepainting and entertainers all day on raceday. We have an adventure playground and funfair too.
Click the 'Entertainment' tab below for full details.
British Truck Racing Association ChampionshipFive-tonne racing trucks, capable of accelerating from 0-60 mph as rapidly as a Porsche 911, will race five times over the weekend. A thrilling reverse-grid format, with the fastest trucks starting from the back ensures plenty of overtaking.
Pickup Truck Racing ChampionshipThese silhouette machines provide action reminiscent of NASCAR Trucks from the other side of the Atlantic.
Legends Cars ChampionshipThese American-style hot rods are renowned for providing some of the closest racing in British motor racing. With reverse grids and evenly matched machines, the top drivers will have to overtake plenty of rivals to succeed.
BARC Clubmans ChampionshipClubmans are front-engined sports prototypes. Engines can provide up to 240bhp and this combined with a custom lightweight chassis means they are almost as quick as Classic Formula 3 Cars.
Quaife Motorsport News SaloonsPacked grids of highly-tuned saloon cars do battle in this series, with everything from four-wheel-drive WRC cars, to modern front-wheel-drive hatchbacks.
SuperkartsThese machines are a different prospect entirely to the 'arrive and drive' karts that so many of us have sampled. Thoroughbred racing machines with an incredible power to weight ratio, these racing karts go like little rockets!
