The traditional British Touring Car Championship season finale takes place on the majestic Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch, scene of last year's spectacular finale which saw Andrew Jordan crowned as the newest BTCC champion. Expect to see a champion crowned once more this weekend, as the season draws to a conclusion, and if it's anything like recent years, expect to see several drivers still in contention for the title.
The BTCC is undergoing a massive renaissance with the NGTC regulations, with new cars, drivers and manufacturers regularly joining the series, with grids in excess of 25 cars.
As well as three races from the BTCC, there will be support from the Ginetta GT Supercup, Renault Clio Cup, Formula Ford, and the young chargers of the Ginetta Junior Championship.
British Touring Car ChampionshipThese machines may look like your regular family car but rest assured these are thoroughbred racing brutes. With some of motor racing's most colourful characters in action expect to see personalities as well as bodywork collide!
Ginetta Junior ChampionshipA series for young chargers aged 14 to 17 to hone their driving style. BRDC Formula 4 stars Charlie Robertson and Seb Morris both cut their teeth here, whilst a talented current crop produce enthralling races as they seek to emulate them.
Formula Ford Championship of Great BritainA traditional proving ground for young drivers hoping to make a name for themselves in single seaters.
Michelin Ginetta GT SupercupThese cars are very similar to those that can be found in the British GT Championship. As such this is a great place for an aspiring GT racer to learn his craft in front of the huge crowds that support the BTCC.
Renault UK Clio CupThis series is, in a word, 'intense'! The drivers are evenly matched and the cars identical - the result is some of the most exciting racing on the BTCC support bill!
Porsche Carrera Cup Great BritainClose GT racing from the iconic German marque. This all-encompassing series provides a multi-class platform for professionals and gentleman drivers alike to experience top-draw GT action.
