Assistant Accountant

9 month maternity cover (from March 2010)

MotorSport Vision is currently seeking a bright, motivated and hardworking individual to join its Accounts team at Brands Hatch.

Reporting directly to Financial Controller, the Assistant Accountant will assist in the production of monthly accounts, weekly event reports, business analysis reports for management and ensure that the accounts accurately reflect the business environment.

The successful candidate's function will also include a monthly review of the ledger entries, the results of which will be used in the continual improvement of coding systems and procedures.

With a hands on approach, they will be highly organised to achieve month end deadlines, and ensure all relevant reports have been produced. As well as IT literate in Microsoft Office, they will have experience of computerised finance systems, preferably experience of Microsoft Dynamics/Navision and ideally have statutory and management accounting experience or qualifications.
